| Fifth Annual 5th Grade Math Contest | ||
| Saturday, January 17, 2009 - The results are in, and DSA’s 6th annual 5th Grade Math Competition was a wonderful success. Over 200 students from all over the metro area came to the Dove campus to participate in this year’s challenge. After a “good luck” breakfast was served to students by DSA teachers, the math exam began. Test questions covered a variety of math skills and difficulty levels. Once the tests were completed and scored, an awards ceremony was held in the DSA gymnasium.
The top 10 students were recognized with medals and certificates while the top five scorers received prizes including mp3 players, an iPod, a digital camera, and a desktop computer with LCD screen. In addition, the top 50 students will be invited to an advanced math Spring Academy at the DSA campus free of charge. Congratulations to all those who attended! Click here for pictures.
